Position Overview:
We are looking for a Medicare Compliance Rep to join our team. In this role, you will receive shoe orders and DPM notes from the podiatry (DPM) office, then coordinate with primary care providers (PCPs) and endocrinologists (endos) to obtain the required Medicare signatures and supporting documentation - ensuring patients can receive diabetic shoes and inserts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and review shoe orders and DPM notes from the DPM office.
- Reach out to PCP and Endo offices to request and obtain required signatures and supporting documentation.
- Ensure the team is following all Medicare policies related to diabetic footwear.
- Communicate clearly with healthcare providers over the phone and via computer.
- Experience with emails, faxing, copying and scanning.
- Complete accurate data entry and maintain organized, compliant records.
Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of experience in Medicare compliance or healthcare compliance.
- Familiarity with Medicare regulations concerning diabetic shoes and inserts.
- Comfortable using phone systems and computer software.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented approach.
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
