Position Summary
We are hiring reliable Medical Courier Drivers to transport medical specimens, pharmaceuticals, medical equipment, healthcare supplies, and other time-sensitive deliveries throughout the region.
This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent time management, and a commitment to professionalism. Every delivery matters, and our drivers play an important role in supporting patient care.
Responsibilities
- Pick up and deliver medical specimens, laboratory samples, pharmaceuticals, and medical equipment. S
- Safely operate a company vehicle or approved personal vehicle, depending on route assignment.
- Follow assigned routes while meeting scheduled pickup and delivery times.
- Maintain chain-of-custody procedures for sensitive medical materials. Obtain signatures and electronic proof of delivery when required.
- Use GPS navigation and mobile applications to complete deliveries.
- Communicate with dispatch regarding route progress, delays, or issues.
- Complete daily vehicle inspections.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional vehicle.
- Follow all traffic laws, company policies, and healthcare transportation procedures.
- Deliver exceptional customer service at every stop.
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license. Clean driving record.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening. High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous experience as a courier, delivery driver, medical courier, pharmacy delivery driver, or logistics driver is preferred but not required.
- Comfortable using smartphones, GPS, and delivery apps. Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Dependable, punctual, and professional.
Physical Requirements
- Lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Load and unload packages throughout the day.
- Walk, bend, climb stairs, and enter/exit the vehicle frequently. Sit and drive for extended periods.
- Work in varying weather conditions.
