Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Staff member to ensure the smooth operation and upkeep of our facilities. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a wide range of building systems and equipment. Your expertise will help create a safe, functional, and comfortable environment for all occupants. Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, electrical equipment, plumbing systems, and building interior components to ensure optimal operation.
- Conduct repairs using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and schematics to address issues with facilities equipment and infrastructure.
- Maintain and repair electrical systems, including wiring, switches, outlets, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs), ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Execute plumbing repairs and maintenance on pipes, fixtures, drainage systems, and plumbing infrastructure.
- Carry out painting tasks such as maintenance painting and residential painting to uphold the aesthetic quality of the facility.
- Supervise or assist with carpentry projects related to building interior maintenance or facility improvements.
- Use electrical testing tools like ohmmeters to diagnose electrical faults accurately while adhering to safety protocols.
- Support the maintenance of HVAC systems by troubleshooting issues and performing system repairs or replacements as needed.
- Lead or assist in supervising maintenance activities, demonstrating leadership qualities and ensuring tasks are completed efficiently.
- Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities, repairs, schematics updates, and safety inspections in accordance with operational procedures.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in facilities equipment maintenance and repair.
- Proficiency in electrical work including wiring, circuit troubleshooting, electrical equipment repair, and understanding schematics.
- Hands-on experience with plumbing system maintenance and repair techniques.
- Familiarity with HVAC system repair, including troubleshooting and component replacement.
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and electrical testing devices such as ohmmeters safely and effectively.
- Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) used in building automation systems.
- Experience with maintenance painting—both general upkeep and residential-style projects—and carpentry for interior enhancements.
- Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with team members and other stakeholders.
- Supervising experience or demonstrated leadership qualities in a maintenance environment.
- Fluency in English for clear communication across all levels of operations.
