West Tulsa Location
CNC Machinist Pay Rate and Hours:
- Hours: 7:30 AM – 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with some overtime as needed
- Pay: Negotiable based on experience
CNC Machinist Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Set up CNC lathes, mills, or turning centers by loading programs, setting coordinates, and installing cutting tools
- Operate and monitor production batches or custom repair components for industrial valves, watching feeds, speeds, and machine behavior
- Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and geometric dimensions to determine correct manufacturing steps
- Measure finished parts using precision tools such as micrometers, calipers, and dial gauges to confirm they meet exact specifications
- Keep the work area clean, perform basic routine machine maintenance, and follow all safety guidelines
CNC Machinist Basic Requirements:
- 2 to 4 years of hands-on CNC operation and setup experience
- Strong understanding of G-code, tooling, speeds, feeds, and workholding methods
CNC Machinist Additional Requirements:
- Solid basic math skills and proficiency with precision measuring equipment (micrometers, calipers, dial gauges)
- Ability to stand for long shifts and lift heavy metal parts or tooling
- Reliable attendance and willingness to work occasional overtime as needed
CNC Machinist Desired Skills:
- Experience reading blueprints, schematics, and geometric dimensioning
- Background in valve manufacturing or precision machining for industrial components
- Strong attention to detail and a quality-control mindset
