Ryder Express is a last mile delivery partner for Food services companies based in San Jose and Livermore.
We are looking for Contract part time delivery drivers for 3-4 hour guaranteed shifts Monday to Friday starting between 3 PM and 5 PM. Great part time gig for Doordash, Uber, FedEx, Amazon or UPS drivers or anyone else looking to make guaranteed earnings to deliver in their local delivery areas.
Requirements:
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must have a valid driver's license within the state of employment
- Social Security number (for a background check only to determine contractor eligibility)
- Must have a personal vehicle to deliver food.
Compensation & Benefits
- $20 per hour and 20 cents per mile driven (average 40-50 miles daily) + Bonus on additional deliveries
Delivery Driver Duties and Responsibilities
- Safely drive and operate your delivery vehicle at all times.
- Use hand held device for routing information, customer delivery information.
- Must be comfortable driving and working in varying weather conditions.
Areas:
Pickups will be from Livermore/San Jose but delivery needs to be done in following cities:
1. San Jose
2. Sunnyvale
3. Fremont
4. Pleasanton
5. Redwood city
6. Palo Alto
Local drivers from these areas will be preferred so after completing their delivery they can head out without reporting back to the Kitchen.
Drivers with experience working with FedEx, Amazon or any other delivery company are highly desirable.
