Title: Food Service Lead
Pay Range: $16.50-$17.50 an hour
Position Summary:
- Operational responsibility and direction for the facility and staff in the absence of the Food Service Manager.
- Process customers of food operation/station in a manner that enhances the business and maintenance of the facility to support customer satisfaction and sales growth.
Experience Requirements:
- Minimum one year experience as a Cliff’s Local Market’s Food/Sales Associate or Shift Supervisor or two years retail store/food service experience preferred, successful completion of all company sponsored RTO training.
- Candidate will also be required to successfully complete additional certifications for this position to include, but not limited to, ServSafe or equivalent Food Service Program, Alcohol Certification (ABC) and Tobacco Certification.
Major Accountabilities:
- Direction and supervision of personnel on duty in the absence of the Food Service Manager. Accountable to the Store Manager and Food Service Manager.
- Policy and procedure enforcement, customer satisfaction, safety and security awareness.
- Assist in food service training and development of Food/Sales Associates.
- Completion of tasks assigned by the Store Manager and Food Service Manager. Performance of routine store tasks/responsibilities the same as the Food/Sales Associate. Must work a combination of day and evening shifts (at least 2 evening shifts per week) that overlap those of the Food Service Manager.
