American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an OB Triage/Labor & Delivery position at a high-volume, Level IV Maternal Designation facility in Austin, TX, requiring a minimum of 2 years of L&D experience and NRP certification.

Night shift position: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM

OB Triage unit within a Level IV Maternal Designation facility

Facility features 26 LDR suites, 6 C-section suites, 14 triage rooms, 60 Mother-Baby Couplet rooms, and 15 monitored antepartum beds
-
High-volume delivery service performing 500+ deliveries per month
-
High-risk, fast-paced patient population
-
Academic teaching service alongside large private OB practices
-
24-hour in-house attending OB, anesthesia, and NICU coverage
-
Perinatal Transport Program in place
-
Position is specifically within the Women's ED/OBED
-
Active TX RN license or compact license with TX as a qualifying state
-
Active RN license verified through Nursys within 30 days prior to start

Certifications required: BLS (AHA or ARC), ACLS (AHA or ARC), and NRP (AAP)

Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Certification required

Minimum 2 years of L&D or perinatal experience in a high-volume delivery service

Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited nursing program

US Social Security Number required; must provide a valid US home address

Driver's License, 2 professional references, and copies of certifications required for consideration

Full SSN and full DOB required for consideration

Preferred experience: 3–5 years of perinatal clinical experience in a high-volume setting

Preferred certifications: S.T.A.B.L.E. Program and Advanced Fetal Monitoring

Preferred education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
