Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other specialty drinks with precision and flair
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders accurately and efficiently
- Engage with customers in a friendly manner, providing excellent service and product recommendations
- Handle cash, credit card transactions, and food handling responsibilities with accuracy and integrity
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in food preparation areas and throughout the café environment
- Manage time effectively to ensure quick service during busy periods while maintaining quality standards
- Assist in food preparation and serving snacks or light food items as needed to enhance customer experience
Experience
- Prior barista experience in a fast-paced café or food service environment is highly preferred
- Familiarity with coffee preparation techniques and beverage crafting skills
- Experience using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for sales transactions
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect positively with diverse guests
- Knowledge of food safety protocols, food handling, and basic math for cash handling and retail math calculations
- Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a dynamic setting
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume hours

Pay: $16.00 - $21.00 per hour
