Job Summary
Placements Unlimited is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Inbound Checker in Pooler, GA, 31322 to oversee unloading operations and ensure product accuracy and quality standards are met. This role is responsible for monitoring unloaders, verifying product labeling, and training staff on unloading procedures.
Responsibilities
- Monitor unloaders during daily unloading operations
- Verify products match the correct SKU and pallet labels
- Ensure pallets are properly organized with no mixed products
- Train unloaders on proper unloading SOPs and procedures
- Check work for accuracy and quality
- Communicate any issues or concerns to warehouse leadership
- Assist with inbound operations and inventory as needed
- Use warehouse scanners, tablets, computers, and other systems
- Follow company procedures and instructions with a high level of accuracy
- Work independently while maintaining productivity in a fast-paced warehouse environment
Qualifications:
- Bilingual (English & Spanish) preferred
- Minimum 1 year of warehouse experience.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
- Tech-savvy and comfortable using computers, warehouse systems, scanners, tablets, and Microsoft Office.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Able to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Must have initiative, be proactive, and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to follow directions exactly as instructed, with a high level of accuracy and consistency.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Previous experience coordinating inbound operations, inventory, or special customer requests is preferred.
Schedule:
Monday through Friday
8 AM - 5 PM
Pay:
$19-20 an hour
Weekly Pay, Direct Deposit.
