We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to ensure the operational efficiency of our manufacturing processes. In this role, you will be instrumental in maintaining and improving our production equipment, focusing on troubleshooting and repairing hydraulic and electrical systems. Your expertise in PLC systems and industrial robotics will be essential to minimizing downtime and optimizing our manufacturing methods.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair all plant equipment, buildings, and grounds to ensure a safe and productive work environment.
- Diagnose and resolve issues with presses and robots, collaborating with Process Technicians to optimize performance.
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks and maintain accurate records to comply with quality procedures.
- Troubleshoot and repair automated equipment, including sensors, servo controls, and VFDs, to maintain operational efficiency.
- Identify and address maintenance concerns, contributing to the resolution of issues and the improvement of manufacturing processes.
- Complete repairs on hydraulic systems, HVAC, conveyors, and pneumatic circuits to minimize downtime.
- Read and interpret PLC ladder logic to troubleshoot and implement minor program changes.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 3+ years' experience in troubleshooting injection molding and secondary equipment.
- Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting, including wiring and re-wiring.
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
- Degree in a related field is a plus.
- Experience with robotics and programmable controls, including program modification.
- Familiarity with plant machinery, electronics, hydraulics, pneumatics, and HVAC systems.
- Capability of EOAT Design and Fabrication.
- Proficiency in valve gate design and installation.
- Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings.
