Responsibilities
- A growing manufacturing facility is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to lead the organization's financial strategy, accounting operations, reporting, and financial infrastructure
- This is a high-impact opportunity for an experienced finance and accounting leader who can operate at both the strategic CFO and hands-on Controller levels
- The CFO will partner closely with the CEO and senior leadership team to drive financial performance, improve processes, strengthen reporting and controls, and build scalable financial infrastructure to support continued growth
- Lead the organization's overall financial strategy, including budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, profitability analysis, and cash flow management
- Oversee the monthly close process, including journal entries, reconciliations, consolidations, and financial statement preparation
- Prepare and present monthly financial reporting packages, KPIs, variance analysis, and financial insights to the CEO and senior leadership
- Oversee accounting operations and human resources including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, payroll, and cost accounting
- Provide financial guidance related to growth initiatives, pricing, resource allocation, compensation, capital planning, and overall profitability
Qualifications
- The ideal candidate will bring strong technical accounting expertise, experience managing multi-entity financial operations, and the ability to translate complex financial information into actionable business insights
- Experience within a public accounting, professional services, advisory, or similarly complex environment is highly valued
- Active CPA license
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required
- Proven experience overseeing accounting operations while also providing strategic financial leadership
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, financial modeling, and profitability analysis
- Strong understanding of internal controls, accounting policies, and financial processes
- Advanced Excel skills with the ability to analyze financial data and develop financial models and reporting tools
- Strong executive communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly communicate financial information to both financial and non-financial stakeholders
- High level of discretion and professionalism when handling confidential financial and business information
Benefits
Salary for this position ranges from $150,000.00-$190,000.00. The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, and education. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
Qualifying positions will also be eligible for comprehensive benefits, such as participation in family medical and dental insurance programs, 401K plan, and PTO.
