Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Housekeeper to join our team at a Senior Living Community. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents. Your attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness will play a vital role in enha:ncing the quality of life for our senior residents. Monday-Friday 8:30-5:00 No weekends, no holidays
Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks in resident rooms, common areas, and restrooms, ensuring all spaces are tidy and hygienic.
- Utilize appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Conduct thorough dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing of surfaces as per established protocols.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel promptly.
- Assist with special cleaning projects as needed, including deep cleaning and seasonal tasks.
- Follow infection control procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of residents.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when replenishment is necessary.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in cleaning or janitorial roles is preferred; custodial experience in a commercial setting is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions and adhere to safety protocols.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- A compassionate attitude towards seniors and a commitment to providing exceptional service.
