Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff
- Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining proper presentation standards
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Process cash and credit transactions accurately, including handling cash handling procedures and sales transaction processing
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety regulations
- Assist with opening or closing duties, including setup of tables, restocking supplies, and ensuring the dining area is inviting
Experience
- Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is highly preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems to efficiently process orders and transactions
- Experience in fine dining environments
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build guest relations and handle guest inquiries professionally
- Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to manage time effectively during busy brunch hours while maintaining high service standards
- Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and managing sales transactions

Pay: $5.49 - $8.24 per hour
