Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of smoothies and beverages to customers
- Operate cash register and handle cash transactions accurately
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers with their orders
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the smoothie bar area
- Follow health and safety guidelines in food preparation and handling
- Upsell additional products or menu items to customers
- Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed
Experience:
- Previous experience in the food industry, preferably in a smoothie bar or similar setting
- Familiarity with using a cash register and handling cash transactions
- Knowledge of basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage with customers in a friendly and helpful manner
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Skills:
- Cash register operation
- Sales and upselling techniques
- Knowledge of coffee preparation is a plus
- Familiarity with POS (Point of Sale) systems is preferred
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
- Basic math skills for calculating change and totals
