Job Title: Personal Care Aide (PCA) / Home Health Aide (HHA)Company Overview

Job Summary
Dongy Homecare is seeking caring and dependable individuals to join our growing team as Personal Care Aides (PCAs) and Home Health Aides (HHAs).
Experience is a plus but not required — we offer training, as well as a path to becoming a Certified Nurse Aide in the state of Pennsylvania to help you succeed in your caregiving role.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who have a genuine passion for helping others and want to make a difference in their community.
Qualifications
- Experience in personal care or home health is preferred but not required — training is available.
- Must demonstrate a sympathetic and caring attitude toward the sick, elderly, and disabled.
- Ability to read, write, and follow written and verbal directions.
- Maturity, reliability, and the ability to handle the emotional and physical demands of the position.
- Must pass all required background checks and screenings as per Pennsylvania state regulations.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal hygiene, including shower, tub, or bed baths, oral care, hair, and skin care.
- Assist clients with the use of toilet facilities, including bedpans and commodes.
- Help clients in and out of bed, excluding the use of mechanical lifting equipment unless trained and documented as competent.
- Assist clients with walking or transfers, including the use of walkers and wheelchairs as needed.
- Assist clients with self-administration of medications according to care plan and training.
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding as required.
- Assist with prescribed exercises as instructed by the appropriate health professional.
- Observe, record, and report any changes in the client’s physical condition, behavior, or appearance to the supervisor or Case Coordinator.
- Document all care and services delivered in accordance with Dongy Homecare’s policies and state regulations.
Work Environment
- Services are provided in clients’ homes or residential settings.
- May involve light to moderate physical activity (lifting, bending, standing, etc.).
- Flexible scheduling — part-time and full-time shifts available.
