Experienced Orthodontic Assistant (Part-Time)
Location: Milwaukee, WI
Schedule:
- Wednesday 9:00 AM-5:00 PM
- Thursdays: 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM
- One Saturday per month: 9:30 AM – 2:30 PM

Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Orthodontic Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis. This role is ideal for someone confident in orthodontic procedures, highly detail-oriented, and looking for a growth-oriented environment with the potential to expand responsibilities over time.
This is not an entry-level role—candidates must be comfortable working chairside and contributing immediately to clinical flow and patient experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the orthodontist during procedures, including bonding, adjustments, and appliance placement
- Prepare and break down treatment rooms in compliance with infection control standards
- Take dental and orthodontic radiographs (X-rays)
- Support patient flow and ensure efficient clinical operations during ortho days
- Educate patients on oral hygiene, appliance care, and post-treatment instructions
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records and clinical notes
- Collaborate with both orthodontic and general dental teams as needed
Qualifications (Required)
- Prior experience as an Orthodontic Assistant (required)
- Dental Assistant Certification preferred
- Strong clinical and chairside skills with the ability to work independently
- Excellent communication and patient engagement skills
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality care
Preferred:
- Bilingual (Spanish/English)
- Experience in both orthodontics and general dentistry

Compensation
- $25.00 – $30 per hour, based on experience
