About the Role
We’re seeking an experienced and compassionate Certified Medical Assistant to join our clinical team in Orinda, CA. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced outpatient setting, values patient-centered care, and enjoys working as part of a collaborative healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and room patients; record vital signs and update medical histories
- Administer medications, injections, and immunizations per provider orders
- Assist providers during patient exams and clinical procedures
- Accurately document patient interactions in the EMR (Epic experience preferred)
- Schedule appointments and coordinate follow-up care
- Answer and return patient calls and messages
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized exam rooms
- Support clinic flow to ensure timely, high-quality patient care
- Travel to nearby clinics for coverage when needed
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (required)
- High school diploma or GED (required)
- Minimum 1 years of back office clinical experience (required)
- Epic EMR experience strongly preferred
- Strong communication skills with patients and team members
- Professional, reliable, and adaptable in a dynamic clinical environment
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Schedule
- Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Full-time, 40 hours per week
- No weekends or evenings
