American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU) position requiring a MD or compact RN license, ACLS, and a minimum of 2 years of CVICU/open heart experience.

Work in the Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU) of an academic medical center setting
-
Patient population includes cardiac surgery (CABG, valve, CABG/valve), CAD (STEMI, NSTEMI, AFib w/ RVR, cardiogenic shock), vascular (peripheral bypasses, EVAR), and thoracic (VATS) cases
-
Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 19:30–08:00

Every other weekend required

Holiday coverage required as shifts fall on the schedule

Floating required within the specialty, sister units, and lower-acuity areas as needed
-
13-week contract

Active MD or compact RN license required

Current certifications: BLS and ACLS required

Minimum 2 years of CVICU and/or open heart experience required

First-time travelers will be considered with at least 2 years of CVICU/open heart experience
