Job Description:
This role supports a busy customer service and sales team by handling order processing, quoting, and inventory coordination. You’ll work closely with internal teams, vendors, and limited customer interaction while ensuring accuracy and timely execution across all orders. The position offers hands-on training and exposure to multiple areas of the business, including operations and light accounting support. This position is responsible for supporting & assisting our sales team in processing orders, inventory management, and vendor quotes to support our customer needs (working with SAGE Software).
Key Responsibilities:
- Process customer orders and prepare accurate quotes using internal systems (SAGE preferred)
- Support inventory tracking and coordinate closely with fulfillment to ensure timely deliveries
- Communicate with vendors and internal teams regarding order status, pricing, and availability
- Assist sales representatives by responding to requests and maintaining order updates
- Support basic accounting functions such as invoicing, cash receipts, and related administrative tasks
- Ensure data accuracy and timely entry across all systems
Qualifications:
- 1 – 3 years of corporate B2B customer service experience
- Comfortable working in a small, fast-paced office environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; SAGE experience strongly preferred
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and support a team-based environment
Responsibilities:
- Assist the sales team by responding to customer requests, providing product information, preparing quotes, and ensuring timely follow-up
- Manage inventory levels and partner with fulfillment to coordinate customer orders, monitor availability, and resolve issues
- Serve as a point of contact for vendors, customers, and internal departments regarding order updates and timelines
- Accurately process customer orders and maintain quote and order information in company systems
- Support accounting functions including invoicing, cash receipts, payment processing, and reconciliations as needed
