We are seeking a Managed Care Contracting Specialist to negotiate and manage payer agreements on behalf of our physician practice and ASC clients. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys contract negotiation, relationship management, and helping healthcare organizations achieve stronger financial outcomes.
What You'll Do
- Negotiate, renew, and renegotiate contracts with commercial and government payers.
- Analyze reimbursement rates, fee schedules, and contract terms.
- Identify opportunities to improve provider reimbursement and contract language.
- Build relationships with payer representatives and client leadership.
- Monitor payer policy and reimbursement changes.
- Present contract recommendations and negotiation results to clients.
- Manage multiple client projects and priorities simultaneously.
What We're Looking For
- Experience in payer contracting, managed care contracting, provider contracting, reimbursement analysis, revenue cycle management, or a related healthcare role.
- Experience working with payers such as BCBS, UnitedHealthcare, Aetna, or Cigna.
- Knowledge of healthcare reimbursement methodologies and fee schedules.
- Strong communication, negotiation, analytical, and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel.
Preferred
- Experience with physician practices, ambulatory surgery centers, or healthcare consulting.
- Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement.
- Experience presenting recommendations to healthcare leaders.
