Seeking a reliable, experienced Property Manager who is focused on customer service to join our team. In this position, you will coordinate the marketing, leasing, and tenant management of the property, while achieving occupancy of 95%+. You must manage property deposits and operations in a smooth and efficient manner. This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly motivated self-starter with strong communication and marketing skills. This position is full time, hourly plus excellent commission structure and room for growth. This position is seeking an outgoing, ambitious individual with sales, service, or leasing experience.
**The role will work at our Belmond property.**
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Manage day-to-day requirements of the property
- Market the property online via website and ILS
- Inspect property for damages or maintenance requirements; schedule maintenance improvements with the onsite Maintenance Technician
- Collect & deposit rent, utility, and other payments; enforce late fees for tardy payments
- Negotiate and execute lease contracts
- Conduct Move In and Move Out walkthroughs at lease beginning and end
- Follow and implement property policies and rules
- Manage all vendor personnel onsite (landscapers, cleaning crews, etc.)
- Maintain and update property records in "Rent Manager" or "Yardi" software
- Maintain a positive relationship with renters and tenants
- Advertise and market vacant spaces, and maintain high occupancy rate
- Help ensure leasing office, model, and property are neat and orderly at all times
- Co-ordinate Evictions of non-paying tenants with local Court and Attorney Property Manager Requirements and Qualifications
Education and/or Experience
- High school degree or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred
- 10+ years of property management, or related experience required
- Knowledge of local property and area characteristics regulations
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word and Excel)
- Organized and attention to detail, ability to multitask and work independently
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Able to analyze problems and strategize for better solutions
- Experience with Rent Manager property management software preferred
- Must be results oriented, while thriving in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment.
- Ability to work independently, but operate in a team environment.
- Must be willing to consent to a background check and drug screen post acceptance.
