We are a premier boutique litigation law firm located in downtown San Diego’s beautiful Marina District, across from the Santa Fe Depot and the Embarcadero.
We are looking for a motivated attorney with 5-10 years of experience to join our specialized civil litigation practice. This unique opportunity offers the chance to work with, and learn from, California's top-rated trial lawyers focusing on mass tort actions for failure to maintain, throughout the state.
The ideal associate will have experience with trial preparation, discovery, motion practice, oral argument, and deposition. The candidate will have the opportunity to manage their own cases under the direction of the partners with an excellent and friendly support team.
Qualifications:
· Active, in-good standing license to practice law in the state of California
· 5-10 years of experience in litigation
· Excellent communication and negotiation skills
· Independently manage cases from start to finish
· Excellent drafting, writing and research skills
· Highly organized and detail-oriented
· Strong verbal and interpersonal skills
· Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects
· Experience with eminent domain and appellate work a plus.
Responsibilities (included but not limited to):
· Draft/respond to Complaints
· Conduct depositions
· Draft motions, stipulations, briefs, declarations, etc.
· Attend mediation and hearings and provide oral arguments
· Coordinate and conduct discovery
· Attend meetings with clients

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $130,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
