Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and guide them to their tables with enthusiasm and professionalism
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using Toast POS
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Manage cash handling, billing, and cashiering duties accurately at the end of each shift
- Maintain food safety standards by adhering to sanitation and food handling protocols
- Assist with bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and supporting kitchen staff when needed to ensure smooth service flow
Requirements
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environment
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle inquiries professionally
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts
- Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, billing, and order calculations accurately
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and nights as required by hospitality schedules
