Position: QA Analyst
Job Type: Contract (with potential for conversion)
Compensation: $35.00-45.00
Location: East Lansing, MI area (Onsite)

Responsibilities of the QA Analyst:

Design, develop, and maintain automated regression test suites using Selenium with Java

Execute manual functional and end-to-end test cases across web and mobile platforms

Develop and execute API test scripts using Postman

Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product owners within Agile Scrum sprints

Create and maintain clear test plans, test cases, and defect reports in Jira
-
Participate in sprint ceremonies including planning, standups, and retrospectives

Identify, document, and track defects through resolution; validate fixes and perform regression testing

Contribute to mobile application testing across iOS and/or Android platforms (preferred).
Preferred Experience of the Quality Assurance Analyst:
3+ years of QA experience (functional automation testing)
Experience with both manual testing and automated testing
Experience with API testing using tools like Postman

Experience Selenium WebDriver to build and maintain test frameworks

Knowledgeable of defect tracking and test management in JIRA or similar tools

Ability to assess requirements, identify test coverage gaps and make recommendations
