Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced BIM Modeler to join our innovative engineering team. We are an experienced and established engineering firm in Sacramento, CA, for 50+ years. The firm is seeking a high-level engineer experienced in healthcare, civic, and commercial-type projects.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage projects for Modeling Plumbing and Mechanical Systems
- Manage the project with the design team.
- Lead the modeling of large-scale and complex mechanical systems—such HVAC, plumbing and/or fire protection systems - from concept through construction with minimal oversight.
- Resolve system conflicts during interdisciplinary coordination by collaborating with architectural, electrical engineering structural engineering, and civil engineering teams.
- Serve as the primary mechanical technical contact across internal and external project teams.
- Perform site visits, field verification, and project walks with high autonomy; generate professional-level reports.
- Guide QAQC reviews for mechanical deliverables and assists in the development of project-specific mechanical and plumbing quality plans.
Requirements
- 10+ years in the AEC Industry preferred.
Pay: $65,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
