We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Team Lead to oversee manufacturing operations within our organization. This role is pivotal in driving production efficiency, ensuring quality standards, and fostering continuous improvement initiatives across the plant. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, comprehensive knowledge of production management, and expertise in ERP systems such as SAP. As a Team Lead, you will coordinate cross-functional teams, optimize manufacturing processes, and uphold safety and quality protocols to support our operational excellence.
Monday-Friday 11am-7pm
Responsibilities
- Lead daily manufacturing activities, ensuring adherence to production schedules and quality standards
- Manage production planning and resource allocation using ERP systems like SAP and MRP (Material Requirements Planning)
- Implement lean manufacturing principles and process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce waste
- Oversee supply chain management and logistics to ensure timely procurement of materials and delivery of finished goods
- Monitor plant operations, identify bottlenecks, and develop strategies for continuous process improvement
- Collaborate with quality control teams to maintain high standards of product quality and compliance
- Supervise team members, provide coaching, training, and performance feedback to foster a motivated workforce
- Utilize supply chain analytics to forecast demand, optimize inventory levels, and improve overall operations management
- Ensure mechanical systems are maintained properly through basic mechanical knowledge and coordination with maintenance teams
- Promote a culture of safety, compliance, and operational excellence across all manufacturing activities
Experience
- Proven experience in production management within a manufacturing environment
- Strong familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP or similar enterprise resource planning tools
- Knowledge of MRP systems for effective inventory control and production scheduling
- Demonstrated expertise in lean manufacturing methodologies and process improvement initiatives
- Background in supply chain analytics, operations management, and plant management
- Mechanical knowledge relevant to manufacturing equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
- Prior experience leading teams in a fast-paced production setting with a focus on quality control
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently
