- Provide professional nail care services including manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, and nail art with precision and attention to detail
- Maintain strict sanitation and sterilization standards to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff
- Assist clients in selecting nail colors, designs, and treatments that suit their style and preferences
- Promote additional services such as hand and foot massages, skincare treatments, or retail products to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue
- Manage appointment scheduling using salon software like Millennium or MINDBODY to optimize client flow
- Engage with clients through excellent communication skills to build lasting relationships and ensure repeat business
- Stay current with industry trends in nail art, techniques, and products by participating in ongoing training and product demos
Skills
- Extensive knowledge of nail care techniques including shaping, polishing, cuticle care, and advanced nail art design
- Strong management skills to handle appointments efficiently and maintain a smooth workflow
- Proficiency with salon management software such as Millennium or MINDBODY for booking and client records
- Experience with social media management to promote services and showcase work on platforms like Instagram or Facebook
- Excellent customer service skills to create a welcoming environment that encourages guest loyalty
- Knowledge of sanitation protocols aligned with health regulations to ensure safety standards are met
- Ability to perform specialized treatments such as dermabrasion, dermal fillers (if applicable), or body waxing as part of comprehensive beauty services
- Familiarity with retail sales techniques to upsell products like skincare or nail care items effectively
- Experience with advanced beauty procedures such as eyelash extensions, gel enhancements, or tattooing is a plus
- Strong communication skills to educate clients on treatments like botulinum toxin or esthetic laser procedures when appropriate
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while managing front desk responsibilities when needed
