Production Craftsman / Sign Installer (Hands-On, Field + Shop)

Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM + OT as needed

At Stoner Graphix, we don’t mass-produce signs—we craft them.
For over 35 years, we’ve built high-end custom signage, branded environments, vehicle wraps, and large format graphics for clients who expect it done right the first time.
We’re looking for a Production Craftsman / Installer who takes pride in hands-on work, thrives in both the shop and the field, and cares about quality as much as we do.
If you like working with your hands, solving problems on-site, and seeing a project come to life from start to finish—this is your role.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING (REAL WORK, NOT REPETITION)
Part fabrication, part installation and part vinyl application.
Installation (Primary Focus)
- Install interior and exterior signage at client sites
- Work with ladders, lifts, scaffolding, and bucket trucks
- Problem-solve in the field and adapt to real-world conditions
- Represent the company professionally on-site
Vinyl + Graphics
- Apply vinyl graphics to vehicles, walls, windows, and signage
- Perform surface prep, alignment, trimming, and finishing
- Ensure clean, professional installs with zero shortcuts
Fabrication & Assembly
- Build and assemble custom signage using wood, metal, plastics, and composites
- Read drawings and follow production specs
- Assist with finishing, prep, and final quality checks
Team Contribution
- Work closely with production, design, and install teams
- Help keep projects moving on schedule
- Step in where needed—this is a team environment
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR (Must-Have)
- Hands-on experience in construction, fabrication, signage, or skilled trades
- Ability to work both in the shop AND in the field
- Strong attention to detail (this is not production-line work)
- Comfortable working at heights and outdoors
- Valid driver’s license
Highly Valuable (but not required)
- Sign installation experience
- Vinyl application or vehicle wrap experience
- Experience with tools, materials, and fabrication methods
- Ability to read blueprints or shop drawings
