The Arrow House, which offers a comprehensive clinically-based treatment option for adolescents and their families is seeking a skilled and qualified Therapist (LMFT or LCSW, will consider AMFT and ACSW) for our residential facility who is interested in making a difference and making a positive impact on the lives of our clients.
The Arrow House, an adolescent project, is a program rooted in community and connection. We serve individuals ages 12-17, and families who are seeking a new method of joining together and facing both individual and systemic challenges related to co-occurring disorders. Our mission is to revitalize our youth and show them recovery in all forms is not only rewarding but meaningful.
Pursuing treatment is never an easy decision nor a linear process. Through family therapy, multi-family process groups, individual counseling and various process and experiential group therapy, our clients will participate in a well-rounded treatment experience. The Arrow House team is committed to exploring all dimensions of our clients. A strong emphasis is placed on establishing safety, accessing emotions, and nurturing time and space for challenging therapeutic material.
The Licensed Therapist will be responsible for providing family therapy, case management, advocacy, linkage to community resources, and crisis intervention services, in addition to maintaining clinical documentation, attending team meetings, etc.
In addition, the Licensed Therapist will have demonstrated creativity, flexibility, and experience engaging with clients, making assessments and treatment recommendations, and utilizing strength-based interventions. Preferred candidates for this position will also likely have advanced training and experience utilizing some evidence-based interventions. This position will be Tuesday - Saturday and is responsible for leading the MultiFamily Group Saturdays.
Role and Responsibilities
- Conduct family therapy (for up to 8 families) and experiential group therapy (3-5 groups per week dependent on caseload).
- Coordination of care with referral sources and outside providers
- Responsible for aiding with insurance reviews
- Upholds state standards for care as well as Joint a commission standards
- Adheres to The Arrow House's facility, department, personnel, and standard policies and procedures, including safety policies and safe work practices.
- Maintains professional competence by attending conferences, workshops, educational programs, and related trainings.
- Maintains professional license, CPR, and CPI Training.
- Provides nurturing environment and close, intensive supervision/security for all clientele.
- Work effectively with the team.
Skills, Qualifications, and Education
- LMFT, LCSW preferred (will consider AMFT and ACSW with 1500 hours towards licensing)
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience working with adolescents and families in treatment and / or mental health setting with a strong understanding of systematic theoretical orientation.
- A background in DBT is preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative management style.
- A demonstrated commitment to high professional and ethical standards.
- High comfort level working in a diverse environment.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- Excellent computer skills and proficient in excel, word, outlook, and access.
- Ability to provide visual and auditory supervision of clients.
- Maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality.
- Stays calm and emotionally available in an environment serving emotionally disturbed youth.
- High degree of clinical knowledge and competence.
- Completion of Background Check, including criminal history and fingerprinting.
- Valid driver’s license, and MVR clearance.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
