Department of Planning and Permitting,
Site Development Division is hiring a
Planner IV (Transportation Planning - General) located at the Fasi Municipal Building in Honolulu. This position plays a key role in supporting the development, coordination, and implementation of traffic and transportation planning projects.
What You Will Do:-
Plan and coordinate transportation studies, analyzing traffic, population, and land use data to guide street capacities and traffic patterns.

Review subdivision plans for compliance with zoning, engineering, and traffic regulations.

Assess environmental impact studies, validating traffic data, volumes, and patterns, and preparing reports for the State Environmental Quality Commission.

Analyze traffic assignment data to support capital improvement planning for the City’s street system.
Planner IV (SR-22) salary of $5,953 per month includes shortage differential.
