Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Lead Primary Montessori Teacher to inspire and nurture young learners in a dynamic early childhood education environment. Responsibilities
- Design and implement innovative Montessori-based curriculum that promote independence, curiosity, and a love for learning among primary-aged children.
- Lead daily classroom activities, ensuring a well-organized environment conducive to active exploration and discovery.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive reinforcement strategies and individualized behavior management plans.
- Assess children's progress regularly and plans lessons accordingly.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and specialists to support children's developmental needs.
- Maintain detailed records of student development, attendance, and curriculum implementation to ensure compliance with educational standards.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment that prioritizes child welfare, physical activity, and social-emotional growth.
Qualifications
- Montessori Primary Certification (AMI, AMS, or equivalent) Required
- Proven classroom management skills with experience working with children aged three to six years old.
- Strong background in curriculum development, lesson planning, literacy education, math instruction, and childhood development principles.
- Experience working with children requiring special education or early intervention services is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members; excellent interpersonal skills are essential.
- Prior Montessori experience within private school settings is required.
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques, toddler care practices, classroom organization strategies, and child welfare standards.
