Ensure a clean, welcoming environment for our customers as well as your enthusiasm and attention to detail This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in food and beverage service within a dynamic retail setting.
Responsibilities
- Prepare a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks, following established recipes and quality standards
- Operate POS system that is Square
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders, and answering questions about menu items
- Handle cash transactions with precision, ensuring proper cash handling and processing at all times
- Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food handling stations, beverage stations, and dining spaces, adhering to food safety standards
- Assist in food preparation tasks as needed, ensuring timely delivery of orders and maintaining food safety protocols
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly while maintaining high-quality service standards
Qualifications
- Previous barista experience or food service experience is preferred but not necessary.
- Proficiency with POS systems
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during peak hours
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and cleanliness

Pay: $13.73 - $13.75 per hour
