CR Sustainability, Inc. provides large-scale environmental and janitorial services for stadiums, arenas, and other major venues across multiple states. Our teams support zero-waste initiatives by sorting waste to divert recyclables and compostables from landfills, helping venues meet their sustainability goals while maintaining a clean, safe, and guest-ready environment.
The Role
- The Lead Recruiter plays a key role in ensuring CR Sustainability has the workforce needed to support venue and event operations nationwide. This position focuses primarily on high-volume recruiting for field team members while also supporting occasional hiring for administrative roles.
- This role is responsible for building the recruiting infrastructure for CR Sustainability, including hiring metrics, recruiting workflows, and scalable hiring processes that support the company’s continued growth. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who is comfortable creating structure where systems do not yet exist and managing recruiting efforts in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Duties
- Lead recruiting efforts for field positions across multiple venues and states, with a primary focus on high-volume hiring for event and venue operations.
- Design and implement recruiting systems that allow CR Sustainability to scale hiring across multiple markets and large staffing events.
- Build and maintain recruiting pipelines for field positions to ensure consistent candidate flow ahead of operational staffing needs.
- Develop and maintain recruiting dashboards and tracking tools to monitor hiring activity and workforce readiness.
- Establish and track key recruiting metrics including Time to Fill, Time to Hire, Cost per Hire, Source of Hire, Applicant Conversion Rate, Offer Acceptance Rate, New Hire Show Rate, and 30-Day Retention.
- Analyze recruiting data and hiring trends to identify pipeline gaps, staffing risks, or process inefficiencies.
- Partner with operations leadership to forecast staffing needs for upcoming events, new venues, and ongoing service operations.
- Post and maintain job advertisements across recruiting platforms and ensure job postings remain accurate, competitive, and aligned with operational needs.
- Review applications and conduct initial candidate screenings to assess qualifications, availability, and suitability for field roles.
- Coordinate interviews with site supervisors and hiring managers while ensuring efficient movement of candidates through the hiring pipeline.
- Manage large-scale recruiting efforts associated with new venue launches, major events, or seasonal staffing increases.
- Develop standardized recruiting processes and tools that support consistent hiring practices across locations.
- Initiate onboarding documentation and monitor completion through digital onboarding systems such as DocuSign.
- Submit and track background checks, employment verifications, and other pre-employment requirements where applicable.
- Process and manage E-Verify cases where required and ensure employment eligibility documentation is completed accurately.
- Coordinate closely with operations teams to confirm start dates, assignments, and readiness for new hires prior to their first shift.
- Enter new employee information into payroll and HR systems and ensure all employee records are accurate and compliant.
- Maintain organized employee documentation and ensure records are complete and audit-ready.
- Communicate clearly with candidates, supervisors, and internal teams regarding hiring status, onboarding progress, and staffing updates.
- Leverage AI resources/software to increase efficiencies, streamline processes and maximize existing resources.
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve recruiting efficiency, candidate experience, and hiring outcomes as the organization grows.
The Ideal Candidate:
- 4+ years of experience in recruiting, onboarding, or HR coordination (multi-site or high-volume preferred).
- Experience recruiting for working-class or blue-collar environments strongly preferred and highly prioritized.
- Spanish fluency required
- Associate degree required
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Experience using onboarding or HRIS systems (ADP, Rippling, BBSI, or similar).
- Familiarity with background checks, E-Verify, and employment eligibility compliance.
- Effective communicator with the ability to build rapport across all levels of the organization.
- Self-motivated and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to work in-office from 7:00am - 4:00pm, Monday- Friday
- Ability to travel for large scale staffing events preferred

Pay: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour
