This is a growth-track role. You will start by learning the foundations such as data entry, payroll processing, and administrative support, and gradually take on more responsibility, including managing entry-level clients.
This role is designed to develop into a Bookkeeper position when opportunities open up. If you are not interested in growing, learning, and advancing, this is not the right fit.

What You Will Be Doing
Bookkeeping and Data Entry
Process & record transactions in QuickBooks
Prepare and organize client files for senior bookkeepers
Assist with cleanup projects and historical data entry
Manage a small portfolio of entry-level clients as you grow
Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
Payroll Support
Process payroll and assist with payroll-related tasks
Enter payroll data accurately and on time
Support payroll reporting and compliance tasks
Administrative Support
Answer and route phone calls professionally
Greet and assist clients and visitors
Help keep the office organized and running smoothly
Retrieve supporting documentation (bank statements, payroll reports, ect)
Assist the team with day-to-day operational needs

Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in an accounting support role, such as data entry, accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, billing, bookkeeping, or similar accounting functions
- Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience using QuickBooks
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to ask questions, follow instructions, and communicate clearly with the team
- Basic understanding of how financial transactions flow through a business
- Payroll experience or exposure is a plus, but not required
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Reliable transportation and ability to work in-office full-time

Important Note
This role is intentionally designed as a pipeline position. We are looking for someone we can invest in and develop into a Bookkeeper over time.
