Position Overview
We are seeking motivated individuals to join our kitchen team for the grand opening of our brand-new restaurant. We are currently hiring for all back-of-house positions, including full-time and part-time opportunities. If you love a fast-paced environment and want to be part of building a great team culture from day one, we have a spot for you!
Open Roles:
- Grill Cooks: Responsible for execution at the grill station, managing cook times, and delivering high-quality hot dishes.
- Sushi Rollers: Responsible for crafting high-quality sushi rolls and signature menu items quickly and consistently.
- Sushi Prep: Responsible for the essential foundation of the sushi bar, ensuring all fish, vegetables, and sauces are ready for service.
- Prep and Fry Cooks: Responsible for portioning, preparing base ingredients, and executing all fried menu items to perfect crispness.
Responsibilities
- Prepare menu items according to established recipes and quality standards.
- Perform daily prep tasks specific to your station (such as cooking rice, cutting fish, preparing sauces, and chopping vegetables).
- Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized work station at all times.
- Ensure proper food handling, temperature control, and sanitation practices.
- Work efficiently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Assist with daily opening and closing kitchen duties.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen teammates and front-of-house staff.
Qualifications
- Previous kitchen or sushi experience is preferred, but not required for entry-level roles. We will train the right attitude!
- Basic knife skills and a strong willingness to learn new culinary techniques.
- STRONG knife skills are needed for Sushi Prep Role
- Ability to work on your feet for extended periods of time.
- Strong attention to detail, cleanliness, and consistency.
- Reliable, punctual, and a team-oriented mindset.

Pay: $14.00 - $20.00 per hour
