Overview

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Hospice Marketing Specialists to promote our hospice care services, building relationship with referrals sources and educating the community about hospice. By focusing on outreach, education, and strategic marketing to increase awareness and referrals for hospice care. In this pivotal role, you will serve as the primary point of contact between our hospice services and hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, supportive living, physicians in ensuring seamless communication and collaboration to provide the highest level of care for patients and their families. The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills, a deep understanding of hospice care, and the ability to navigate complex healthcare environments.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with hospitals, physicians offices, nursing homes, assisted and supportive living facilities, faith based organizations and community groups.
- Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with hospital social workers, case managers, to facilitate referrals.
- Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with the nursing homes administrators and facilitate contract establishments.
- Provide accurate information to patients, families, referral sources regarding hospice, eligibility, and benefits.
- Organize and patriciate in community events, health fairs, and educational seminars to promote hospice services.
- Act as an advocate for patients and families throughout the transition to hospice care.
- Maintain accurate records of referrals, admissions, and follow-up communications.
- Stay informed about changes in healthcare regulations and hospice best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, healthcare administration, nursing, social Work, or related field (preferred).
- Previous experience in hospice care, home health, healthcare marketing, or community outreach strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of end-of-life care principles and practices.
- Excellent communication skills, interpersonal, presentation, and the ability to build rapport with diverse groups.
- Knowledge of hospice philosophy, services, and regulations.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficient in using electronic health record systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel within the service area.

Pay: $56,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
