We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Custodian to maintain cleanliness and safety throughout our clients manufacturing facility and warehouse. The ideal candidate will have previous experience cleaning warehouse or industrial environments and be comfortable working around manufacturing equipment while following all safety procedures.
- Clean and sanitize warehouse floors, production areas, break rooms, restrooms, offices, and common areas.
- Sweep, mop, scrub, and vacuum floors using manual and powered cleaning equipment.
- Empty trash and recycling containers throughout the facility.
- Clean windows, doors, walls, and other surfaces as needed.
- Restock restroom and janitorial supplies.
- Clean around machinery and workstations while following all safety guidelines.
- Maintain a clean and organized janitorial supply area.
- Safely use cleaning chemicals and equipment according to company policies.
- Report maintenance or safety concerns to management.
- Assist with general facility upkeep and other cleaning duties as assigned.
- Previous custodial or janitorial experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment is required.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, equipment, and chemical handling.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean and safe workplace.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
