Competitive Compensation and benefits. Compensation includes base salary and incentive compensation based on production and is dependent on experience.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive skin examinations, including physical assessments and vital signs, to accurately diagnose dermatological conditions, including skin cancers.
- Maintain detailed medical records using electronic health records (EHR) systems, ensuring compliance with documentation standards.
- Educate patients on skin health, treatment options, post-procedure care, and lifestyle modifications to promote optimal outcomes.
Requirements
- Valid certification as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner with current state licensure in good standing.
- Demonstrated experience in dermatology or related outpatient settings is preferred
- Proficiency in EMR/EHR system for documentation and data management.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy relevant to dermatology, and pharmacology for medication prescribing.
- Ability to perform physical examinations, diagnostic test interpretation, and procedural techniques including suturing and injection administration.
- Experience with CPT coding for procedures, ICD coding for diagnoses, and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Excellent client communication skills with the ability to educate patients effectively about treatment plans and skin health strategies.
Pay: $85,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
