Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Cook / Kitchen Staff member to join our catering team in Cincinnati . This role involves preparing and serving high-quality meals for various events, ensuring food safety standards are met, and delivering exceptional culinary experiences. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and basic kitchen skills.
Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to menu specifications and client requests
- Ensure all food handling and preparation adhere to food safety and sanitation standards
- Set up and organize kitchen stations for efficient meal production
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and proper storage of ingredients
- Assist with food presentation and garnishing to ensure visually appealing dishes
- Support catering events by serving food and attending to guest needs as required
- Follow all health and safety regulations during food preparation and service
- Manage inventory levels, restock supplies, and communicate shortages or equipment issues
Experience
- Knowledge of food handling procedures, safety standards, and sanitation practices
- Familiarity with catering services, serving techniques, and large-scale food production is a plus
