Responsibilities
- Greet clients warmly and build rapport to understand their bridal vision and preferences
- Assist brides in selecting dresses, accessories, and styling options that complement their individual style
- Conduct product demos to highlight features and benefits of various bridal collections and accessories
- Provide expert advice on fit, fabric, and design to ensure each bride feels confident in her choice
- Manage retail sales transactions accurately using POS systems, including cash handling and cash drawer management
- Upsell complementary products such as veils, jewelry, and shoes to enhance the overall bridal look
- Maintain organized stock levels, restock displays, and ensure the boutique remains visually appealing through effective merchandising
- Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when scheduling appointments or answering client inquiries
- Educate clients on store policies, product details, and upcoming promotions to maximize sales opportunities
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a seamless shopping experience from consultation to purchase
Experience
- Prior retail sales experience, preferably in fashion or specialty retail environments such as bridal or formalwear stores
- Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership in customer service or team coordination roles
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash register operations, retail math, and cash handling procedures
- Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse clients; bilingual abilities are highly valued
- Experience with product demos, upselling techniques, and merchandising strategies to drive sales growth
- Knowledge of retail store product knowledge including gowns, accessories, and related items; grocery store experience is beneficial for understanding inventory management
- Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills to create positive interactions both in person and over the phone
