This is a FULL-TIME (Monday-Friday) position starting at 10.00/hr.
SERIOUS APPLICANTS ONLY. This is not your average babysitting job. :) We not only care for infants, but we work on developmental skills while following state standards, and the ratio is 1 to 5 (1 teacher to 5 infants). The ages range from 6 weeks until 18 months. It also requires knowing how to multi-task, as infants have different necessities. This position also requires being level-headed, having patience, and actively moving around the classroom.
We are a licensed childcare facility in Phenix City looking for serious, reliable, honest, and trustworthy teachers who are always ready to learn more and easily adapt to change. "We don't babysit, we teach!" This job is very similar to teaching in a school setting. It is completely different from nannying and babysitting and requires hard work and dedication!
Here are some of the skills and requirements for working at KLA:
- Provide childcare and enhance developmental skills for infants.
- Ensure infants have good hygiene and change diapers as needed.
- Clean interactive areas throughout the day
- Organize activities and implement the curriculum.
- Follow the schedule for children throughout the day.
- Keep records of each child’s progress, interests, and any problems that may occur
- Maintain contact with the children’s parents and contact them when needed.

Pay DoE (Depends on Experience and Performance)

Pay: $10.00 - $10.50 per hour
