Property Maintenance Technician
We are looking for a dependable, self-motivated Property Maintenance Technician to help maintain our residential rental properties. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, solves problems independently, and stays productive without direct daily supervision.
Responsibilities
- Clean out and prepare rental units between tenants
- Install and repair flooring
- Perform interior and exterior painting
- Complete general property repairs and maintenance
- Handle basic carpentry, plumbing, and other handyman tasks
- Perform lawn care and seasonal property cleanup
- Complete snow removal at rental properties
- Respond to occasional after-hours maintenance emergencies
- Identify needed repairs and communicate updates clearly
- Keep properties, tools, and work areas clean and organized
Ideal Candidate
- Self-starting, motivated, and able to work without direct supervision
- Dependable and responsive, especially when urgent issues arise
- Experienced with general property maintenance and repairs
- Able to prioritize work across multiple properties
- Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in Minnesota weather
- Able to perform physically demanding work, including lifting, bending, and using ladders
- Professional and respectful when interacting with tenants
- Valid driver’s license and a reliable driving record
- Own basic hand tools or be familiar with commonly used maintenance tools
This position offers a wide variety of work and a high level of independence. We are looking for someone who notices what needs to be done, takes ownership of the job, and follows through until the work is completed properly.
Pay: $25.40 - $28.00 per hour
