Job Summary
In the position of Mental Health Technician, you are responsible for helping ensure the safety of all clients currently admitted into InnerWisdom. Mental Health Technicians use company vehicles to bring clients to and from the program Monday-Friday and work as a team with other members of the Support Department to ensure building and client safety by performing duties such as over-watch and basic maintenance.
Example of Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain a clean and safe environment
- Monitor clients as they move throughout the building
- Safely transport clients to and from the program
- Collaborate with the clinical department to ensure patient care
Requirements:
- Must have a valid Driver’s License
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Minimum of 2 years patient care experience preferred
- Texas issues Behavioral Health Tech certificate preferred
- SAMA or similar de-escalation certificate preferred
- First-aid/CPR certificate preferred
