American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Emergency Department position requiring a CO or Compact RN license and multiple AHA certifications including TNCC and ENPC.

Work in the Emergency Department of an acute care hospital setting
-
12-hour night shifts, 1900–0730, three days per week, 36 hours per week
-
May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications
-
May be required to be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift

Epic EMR used for charting

Active CO Single State or Compact RN license required — no pending licenses accepted
-
Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department RN experience required

Required certifications (all AHA): BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, ENPC, and NIHSS — all must be active and not expire prior to start date

ASN from an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred

DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care for ED patients
-
Performs health teaching, counseling, and patient referrals as needed

Executes delegated medical functions and reviews treatment plans in accordance with state Board of Nursing standards

Former permanent staff must have been separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment

Candidates who have previously worked permanently at any Intermountain facility must have a separation of at least one year to be eligible
