American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN/Surgical Tech for a CVOR position requiring NBSTSA certification, open heart experience, and Level I trauma background.

Hospital-based CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating Room) setting
-
Day shift schedule: 5x8-hour shifts (6:45 AM - 3:15 PM)
-
Call required every third day with a 30-minute on-site response time
-
Weekend coverage required up to twice per month
-
Holiday coverage required as needed
-
May float to the general OR as needed
-
Epic EMR experience required
-
Active PA RN license or Compact RN license currently in hand

Current certifications: NBSTSA (required — NCCT not accepted) and BLS
-
Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience required

Open heart surgery experience required
-
Level I trauma experience required

Epic EMR experience required

Must be able to respond on-site within 30 minutes when on call

Candidates undergo a clinical review process to determine fit before being forwarded to the manager; a manager interview is required

May provide care for COVID-positive patients
