In our Mechanical Data Center team , we deliver high-impact, cost-effective solutions that support our clients’ growth across global markets. We combine strong technical execution with thoughtful design strategies tailored to each project and location.
We are seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Designer to support our fast-paced Data Center market. In this role, you will contribute to the development and delivery of mechanical system designs, working collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team to execute innovative and high-quality solutions.
You will perform design assignments with general technical guidance and contribute to complex projects involving critical data center infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
Develop Revit/BIM models and construction documents for mechanical systems on data center projects
Support the layout and design of HVAC and hydronic systems, including chilled water and cooling water systems
Assistin development of design criteria and basis of design documentation
Prepare conceptual and preliminary designs, including flow diagrams and general arrangements
Perform ductwork and piping layout based on load requirements, system diagrams, and equipment configurations
Produce detailed construction documents, including plans, sections, and system details
Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams (electrical, structural, architectural) to ensure integrated designs
Participate in model coordination efforts, including clash detection ( NavisWorks / Revizto )
Support design reviews and quality control processes
Mentor and guide junior designers as appropriate
Here's what you'll need
Qualifications
Associate degree in Design, or related field (or equivalent experience)
6+ years of mechanical design experience, preferably in mission-critical or industrial facilities
Strong proficiency in Revit and BIM modeling for mechanical systems
Experience developing construction documents for HVAC and hydronic systems
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Strong collaboration skills across multi-disciplinary teams
Ideally, You’ll Also Have
Experience with data center or mission-critical facility design
Familiarity with tools such as NavisWorks , Revizto
Knowledge of load calculation software (Trane Trace, Carrier HAP, etc.)
Understanding of ASHRAE standards and mechanical codes
Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Interest in emerging technologies, including liquid cooling systems (CDUs, high-temp loops)

The base salary range for this position is $102,900.00 to $141,500.00; though will be paid hourly based on hours worked. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
