Temp-to-hire
M-F 1st Shift 5:00am -1:30pm 2 hrs OT during weekdays, Saturday OT from 4:00am 12:30pm twice a month.
$19.75/hr
Job Summary
You will be responsible for assembling and soldering electronic components to produce high-quality tools and equipment. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and adherence to safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Soldering Operations: Perform various types of soldering, including surface mount, through-hole, and hand soldering, to assemble components onto printed circuit boards (PCBs) and other assemblies.
- Assembly & Inspection: Assemble components according to technical drawings and specifications. Conduct visual and mechanical inspections to ensure conformance to quality standards.
- Rework & Repair: Identify and correct defects or issues in assemblies using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of work performed, including production counts, materials used, and any issues encountered.
- Safety & Cleanliness: Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical training or certifications in soldering preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience in soldering or electronics assembly is advantageous.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in using soldering irons, microscopes, and other hand tools.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Manual dexterity to handle small components.
- Capability to lift up to 25 pounds.
Certifications (Preferred):
- IPC-A-610 or IPC-J-STD-001 certification.
