Job Summary

Duties
- Develop and implement dynamic, age-appropriate curriculum plans that incorporate literacy education, math, physical education, and creative activities.
- Create a positive classroom atmosphere that promotes behavior management, classroom management, and child welfare.
- Engage children in hands-on learning experiences that support childhood development and early intervention strategies.
- Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns related to child development or behavior.
- Maintain detailed records of lesson plans, assessments, standardized testing results, and child progress reports.
- Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and uphold health and safety standards through first aid and CPR certification.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan special activities, coordinate classroom routines, and support inclusive education practices such as special education accommodations.
Experience
- Prior experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings is essential.
- Demonstrated knowledge of early childhood education principles, child development instruction, and classroom management techniques.
- Experience developing curriculum content across multiple domains including literacy education, math, physical education, and social-emotional learning.
- Familiarity with behavior management strategies and working with children requiring special education or early intervention services.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with parents, staff, and community partners about child welfare and educational progress.
- Classroom experience involving toddler care or preschool teaching is highly desirable.
- Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional credentials in childhood development or special education are a plus.
