Job Summary
We are a premier residential construction company operating across the DC metro area. We are seeking a reliable, safety-conscious Transport Driver to manage the movement of materials, supplies, heavy equipment, and debris to and from our active job sites. Key Responsibilities
- Transport Cargo: Safely haul construction materials, lumber, tools, and supplies to residential project sites.
- Move Equipment: Load and secure heavy machinery and equipment between locations.
- Manage Waste: Operate dump trucks or roll-off trailers to haul debris and dump loads to designated disposal facilities.
- Site Coordination: Coordinate closely with site supervisors to ensure timely deliveries and pickups.
- Vehicle Care: Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and DOT compliance.
Minimum Requirements
- License: Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL-B) is mandatory.
- Endorsements: Active Air Brake certification is required.
- Medical: Current Department of Transportation (DOT) Medical Card.
- Driving Record: Clean DMV driving record with no recent major violations.
- Geography: Strong knowledge of navigating DC, Maryland, and Northern Virginia routes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience operating dump trucks or flatbeds in a construction environment. CDL-A is plus!
- Physical Ability: Capacity to lift up to 50 lbs. and assist with loading or securing cargo when necessary.
Pay: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour
