We’re looking for an enthusiastic Assistant Preschool Teacher to join our founding team and help create a positive, engaging classroom where young learners thrive.
Position Summary
The Assistant Preschool Teacher will work alongside the Lead Teacher to support daily classroom activities, foster positive relationships with children, and help maintain a safe, organized, and nurturing learning environment.
This position is perfect for someone who loves working with children and wants to grow their career in early childhood education.
Responsibilities
- Assist with implementing engaging classroom activities.
- Support children’s learning through play and exploration.
- Help supervise classroom routines and transitions.
- Prepare classroom materials and learning centers.
- Assist with meals, snacks, and classroom cleanup.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom.
- Build positive relationships with children and families.
- Follow Pennsylvania DHS regulations and school policies.
- Work collaboratively with the Lead Teacher and administration.
Qualifications
Required
- High school diploma or GED.
- Experience working with young children in a childcare, preschool, or educational setting.
- Pennsylvania Child Abuse Clearance.
- Pennsylvania State Police Criminal Background Check.
- FBI Fingerprint Clearance.
- CPR & First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain before employment).
Preferred
- CDA credential or coursework in Early Childhood Education.
- Brightwheel experience.
- Experience working with children ages 3–5.

What We Offer

Schedule
Monday–Friday
Typical hours between 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (may vary based on program needs).
